Our local PCSO – Police Community Support Officer came to visit us at Nursery to speak to us about her job and the role she plays in the community. This enhanced our learning on the world we live in, our community and people who help us. Bethan talked us about her uniform and how she helps people. The children had lots of questions for her; why does she wear a uniform? Does she catch baddies? What does her ‘walkey talkey’ say?. Bethan showed us her uniform and badge and explained that she has a unique number. She also shared some poems on her job role and when she visits us again she will try and bring a police car and some uniforms for the children to try. we are excited for our next visit. Thank You for coming!
