Neil and Ginny created the business in 1993 because of the demand for high quality Child Care at competitive prices in the area. Together they opened their first Wind in the Willows Nursery on Earle Street, Newton-le-Willows in 1993. Neil's responsibilities within the business include; accounts management, maintenance and IT.
Neil has been a local Councillor for Newton-le-Willows for 14 years also having the honour of being Mayor of St Helens in 2010/11. He is also a long standing member of St Helens Chamber serving on the board for 6 years and has taken a great interest in helping small business' in the area succeed. Before opening Wind in the Willows Neil worked in retail management for over 25 years.
