I first started working for Wind in the Willows as a Nursery Practitioner in 2011.
In 2013 Wind in the Willows opened a new site in Woolston, Warrington.
I became Deputy Manager at Woolston in December 2013.
Since January 2014 I have been the Nursery Manager at Woolston, where I am the named SENCO and Safeguarding Officer.
I achieved a BA (Hons) degree in Early Years Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS*)
I have a range of experience working with children in schools, preschools and nurseries both private and government funded. I have worked with children from Birth – 7years old using the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum within practice. I have also had experience working with children with additional needs in both nursery settings and schools.
I believe my strengths lie with children aged from birth to 5 years old.
Outside work I enjoy visiting friends and family. I enjoy attending the gym and completing cardio classes and weight loss challenges. I am a rugby league fan and enjoy attending the games to support my team both home and away alongside visiting new destinations.
